Eagle safari
Every spring we are looking for nesting sites for eagles. In particular, we protect the nest while hatching. When the kids are out of the small, the eagle is less vulnerable. It is exciting to follow kids up to the adult age and they are able to fly.
The area has one of the largest population of white-tailed eagle.
SEAL SAFARIGray seals and horbor seals are the most common species, male ringed seals and greenlandsseal can be from time to time.
The haverten is very shy and not easy to get close to. They escape quickly when they feel threatened.
The seal is curious. In particular, kids are curious. In the nesting season one may now experience the place area has one of Europe`s largest population of grey seals and horbor seals.
NIGHT SAFARIHave you seen the light coast at night with all its shades? Unforgettable.
On a night trip one can see Sunrise and sunset on the same trip.
Catch the light with a camera or a brush.
CORMORANT COLONIES.Cormoarant nests in colonies on special islets. It has eggs, young kids and savew the kids in the same nest. The biggest kids are looking after the nest while the parents search for food. Since the population is highly increasing, one can hunt for cormorants from 1st october till 30th november.
OiL PLATFORM
It takes one hour with speed boat to reach out to the oil platforms. It is alllowed to get whithin 500 meters from the oil platforms.
EXTREME VACATIONOn an uninhabited island, you can stay in a lavvo. All alone with only natural sounds and the power of nature!
Our lavvo is no in place on Einbur Island.
It was beautyfully located in the landscape and is ideal for seal and bird watching.
Besides, there are mussels and cockles on the shore nearby.
Det går fort mot mørkere tider og snart er det jul.
Vi har brukt høsten til noen forbedringer.
Lavoen er kommet opp!
Den står på Einburøya og ble flott plassert i terrenget.
Nå kan de som ønsker det ta turen og bruke lavoen til en liten kafferast.
Under oppsettet har vi fått se mange seler liggende på nærmeste skjær. Kjempearti å se dem så nære og de har forholdt seg rolige.
Lavoen har flott beliggenhet i forhold til å se på fugler og dyrelivet i området.
For de som ønsker å bli en stund finnes det både blåskjell og hjerteskjell i fjæra klar til å høstes.
Lavoen vil stå åpen for allemann!

Trondheim sier de ikke har noen skjærgård!
Jovisst har Trondheim skjærgård.
Den ligger 2 timers tur ut gjennom fjorden med båt. Med raftingbåt 1 times tur.
Og hvilken skjærgård.? 5400 øyer, holmer og skjær oppgir Frøya Kommune at de har.
Øyene ligger der på rekke og rad og innbyr til en visitt.
Du kan grille, nyte stillheten, oppleve fuglelivet og ikke forglemme minken og oteren som myldrer i antall. Mange pussige opplevelser i samspillet mellom dem.
Akkurat nå har røss-lynget sine fineste farger. Dessverre er blomstringen av røsslyng det siste tegn på at sommeren er over.
Jo Trondheim har skjærgård. Det er bare å se litt lengre enn Munkholmen!
